Annie Sanford, RN, MSN

p6Annie Sanford, RN, MSN, is a remarkable registered nurse who lends her exceptional set of skills and knowledge to serve patients at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, where she works as Stroke Program Manager since February 2016. Swedish Medical Center is the largest nonprofit health provider in the greater Seattle area. Prior to her current endeavors, Annie was a CSC Project Manager for and Stroke Clinical Effectiveness Coordinator for Swedish Medical Center.  Annie and her team were responsible for maintaining excellent stroke patient care and providing education and outreach programs. Her goal is to help raise awareness of stroke prevention and treatment throughout the community to reduce the impact of stroke on disability and death. Annie has an impressive professional journey spanning 14 years and credits her success to the incredible team that she has worked with at the Providence Health System and Swedish Medical Center. Annie Sanford, RN, MSN, attended Washington State University and received her bachelor degree of science in nursing in 2002. An advocate of continuing education, she acquired her master degree of science in nursing in 2015 at Western Governors University. Annie is an active member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and the American Stroke Association. She is the recipient of a recognition from the Department of Health for her participation in the cardiac and stroke efforts in the state. Annie dedicates her spare time to music, reading, and playing with her two labs.
